Caine is a Mastiff mix who we rescued at 5 years old. He is the most docile dog I've ever known, but is the alpha who will step in the middle of any scuffles. I adopted him from a PetSmart adoption event. I went in to look at another dog and he was sleeping next to his foster. Out of nowhere he got up, walked right over to me while I was sitting on the floor, laid down in front of me and put his head in my lap. The rest is history!
I adopted Cody from a breeder at two months old. I've always loved the great Dane and he fit right into our family as soon as he came home. He's the goofball of the group and always makes us laugh. He craves attention and thinks he's a lap dog!
Sadie is the princess. She follows me everywhere and jumps up at my legs waiting for me to pick her up. She has human like expressions and it's like she knows what you're thinking.
I adopted Gage from a pomeranian rescue in Ohio. He came to me very skittish and food aggressive. He seemed weary of other dogs and barked loudly at them. He also never came when I called him and I couldn't figure it out. Finally, I noticed that he wouldn't react to loud noises. Come to find out he was deaf. Ever since that, he has become a different dog. I taught him sign language, worked on his food aggression and now you can tell he's just a happier dog. He loves attention and getting petted. He uses his paws to pull your hand back to pet him if you stop!
